Discover the Art of Osteopathy
Developped in the mid 19th century by Andrew Taylor Still, an American physician and surgeon. Ostheopathy is based on the lelationship between structure and function within the human body.
Traditional ostheopathy :
Uses specific manual techniques (Osteopathic Manipulative Treatement OMT)
Aims to restore mobility, to skeletal, myofascial, visceral and cranial structures.
Supports balance in vascular, lymphatic and nervous system
Accompanies patients through a global approch including posture, mouvement and lifestyle guidance.
It is distinct from other manual therapies though its holistic medical philosophy and its role as primary-contact health-care profession, as recognized by the World Health Organization WHO.
